Have you always wanted to start your own
small business? Do you have an idea for a small, or even home-based business?
WAMY Community Action, Inc. can help you with writing a business plan, examining
the market for your proposed business and other start-up issues. WAMY may even
be able to help you with a small loan for your business.
On Monday, November 23rd a
representative from WAMY’s Microloan Program will be available in the Spruce
Pine Public Library from 4 to 7 pm to meet with you individually and discuss
various aspects of business start-up. And again on Tuesday, December 1st
the representative will be in the Yancey County Public Library in Burnsville
from 4 to 7 pm.
You will even be able to take a brief
Entrepreneurial Readiness Inventory to help determine if being a business owner
is a good option for you. The inventory will help you look at specific traits
people should have and conditions they should meet in order to be successful in
business.
Call 828 264-2421 or 828 265-8483 to set up
an appointment with the Small Business Representative or to learn more about
