Some parts of Yancey County only got a little snow Friday and Saturday, however the South Toe area got lots (at least 8 inches at my house)....along with ice. Tammy Loftis sent this photo of ice covered trees on Seven Mile Ridge.


This is the most unusual snow photo we've ever received...Abby Renfro and Madi Johnson had the bright idea to sit in the snow and see what it would look like when they took a picture of it. After they stood up and took the picture they noticed it looked like it was 3 dimensional. They were completely shocked, thought it was unusual and wanted to share it with us all.
